Oskar Schindler was a Czech man who inspired many people through his heroic actions. He had an enamelware factory, and he let people from the Płaszów concentration camp work for him. At first, he looked at it from purely a business perspective, but he eventually felt pity for the people, and he made the famous 'Schindler's List'. He employed older and younger workers in an attempt to save their lives (the job meant that they were of importance) and he stopped them from getting sent to death camps. Oskar Schindler is credited for saving the lives of 1,200 people. He died in 1974.
